This year Leftside Wobble will continue to release regular edits not only through a selection of labels including Disco Deviance, AutoDiscoteque, Tribute and Kojak Giant Sounds; but also through SoundCloud where he has over 2000 followers from the worldwide DJ community!

Leftside Wobble may be a relatively new name but Jonathan Moore (the man behind it) has been a regular fixture of the underground club scene for over 20 years. Having got the DJ bug in his early teens after discovering the exotic delights of Electro Funk his DJ career began in earnest in 1988 during the Acid House revolution that was sweeping clubland. Having been a regular at Paul Oakenfold’s Project Club at sleazy South London establishment Ziggy’s; the opportunity arose to take over the night in 1988 and for the next 3 years he ran Balearic night The Casbah alongside the De Javu boys (responsible for progressive house classic Never Knew The Devil). In 1990 he met the promoters of seminal nights Solaris & Kinky Disco and become one of the resident DJ’s alongside Eren (responsible for The Source – You Got The Love).

The mid nineties saw him putting in regular appearances at various nights at The Cross (in London’s Kings Cross) including Glitterati and Cheeky People. And at this point he also started working with Dazed and Confused Magazine and became the resident DJ and musical director for their excursions into nightlife such as Blow Up and Been There, Seen It, Done It.

In 1993, he first started working with the Trees For Cities charity, a relationship that has seen him DJ at and help organise nearly 40 nights of fundraising fun over the last 17 years. Fuelled by the best in underground music supplied by DJ’s including X-Press 2, Pete Heller, Bill Brewster, DIY, The Idjut Boys and the Sancho Panza sound system.; the relationship continues to be fruitful and they jointly look forward to the next 40 parties!

His attitudes to both DJing and music production stay true his original Balearic spirit so be prepared to be surprised but also be prepared to party!
